This collection contains articles, photographs, letters, documents, and more pertaining to Allan Pinkerton and family, as well as the Pinkerton National Detective Agency. Allan Pinkerton lived in Chicago but moved to West Dundee and lived here for a few years before moving back to Chicago. The content in this collection ranges from 1836 to 1999.
