This viral Facebook post reached 443,712 Facebook users. There were 706 Facebook post reactions, 57 Facebook comments, and 60 shares. This post features Danielle the Teen Librarian at the Dundee Library, who decorated  cupcakes for the staff with the Dewey Decimal System. FYI Danielle has been working at the Dundee Library since 2006!

We really got into making Instagram reels this year. I saw that on Instagram the Wes Anderson trend was very popular, and we decided to make one. Our library sure does look beautiful in the Spring. Take a look at our reel!

Here is one of the cutest pictures ever! We posted this on Facebook and Instagram. Here at the Dundee Library we love K9 Walter from the Carpentersville Police Department so we needed to give him a library card. In September we partnered up with Walter to started a storytime and reading challenge called Badges and Books . 

Here is another Instagram reel for the books! I love making a fool out of myself acting like the main character. In this case I needed to pretend I was the main character of a romance book. Check out the reel and give it a like. 

It's not all fun and games! We get down to business with our school outreach. Every year we try and visit as many open houses, kindergarten orientations, Popsicles with Principals, and Book Fairs that we can. After we did this post we still had a couple more school events to go to. In total we were able to issue 195 library cards this summer and fall.
