*Requirements: You MUST already know how to make a starting chain, and be comfortable making both single and double crochet stitches.

Learn how to create patterns with the Overlay Mosaic crochet technique.  This is an advanced class. I will not be going over basic crochet techinques.  Overlay mosaic crochet uses single and double crochet.  The point at which you anchor the stitches creates the pattern and you will need to follow the pattern to create the design. We will also not be turning the work at the end of our rows; the project will be completely worked from the front. I've been seeing pictures of these designs for a while on Pinterest and decided to learn.  It's been fun, rewarding and not as difficult as I thought it would be!  Participants will be provided with yarn, a crochet hook and printed instructions to take home. During class we will work through making a small swatch using the most basic overlay stitch pattern  and a pattern.  With that knowledge, participants will be able to move on to more complex projects after the class.
