Author Rory Fanning will visit the Dundee Library to discuss his book Worth Fighting For, his two deployments to Afghanistan with the 2nd Army Ranger Battalion, and his subsequent anti-war activism. In 2015, Rory Fanning was awarded a grant from the Chicago Teachers Union to tour Chicago Public Schools and help students make more informed decisions about joining the military. His writing has been published in The Guardian, Salon, The Nation, Jacobin, and elsewhere.
