DOJ accredited professionals from Alianza Hispanoamericana will offer two DACA renewal workshops at the Dundee Library. Registered attendees will receive one-on-one assistance with completing the renewal application for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). This assistance is provided free of charge. The United States government charges a $495.00 fee to process DACA applications. At the workshop, you should be prepared to pay a $495.00 processing fee to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the form of a money order, personal check, or credit card payment. Each workshop has a limit of fifteen attendees. We encourage you to register early. Please note that this workshop is exclusively for those seeking renewal requests for deferred action under DACA. Prior to the workshop, you will be contacted by Alianza Hispanoamericana to confirm that you have the necessary documents and information. These services are made possible by a grant awarded to YWCA Elgin by Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, Illinois Department of Human Services, and the New American Initiative.

Don't forget to bring:

  • ID or Driver's License
  • Most recent DACA application
  • Current Work Permit (E.A.D.)
  • Social Security Card
  • If applicable, Advance Parole Travel Document
  • Most recent Income Tax (2020)

Profesionales, reconocidos por el Departamento de Justicia (Department of Justice), de Alianza Hispanoamericana ofrecerán dos talleres de renovación de DACA en la Biblioteca de Dundee. Asistentes recibirán asistencia personalizada para completar la solicitud de renovación de Acción Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA). Esta asistencia es gratis. El gobierno Estadounidense cobra una tarifa de $495.00 para procesar las solicitudes de renovación de DACA.
