Library Branches Opening at 1p November 22

Both library branches will be opening at 1p on November 22 for staff development training. 

Library Closure for Thanksgiving

Both library branches will close at 5 p.m. on November 27 and remain closed on November 28 and 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. We will reopen with normal hours on November 30.

Event Details

 

Join our Day of the Dead celebration to honor loved ones and celebrate Mexican heritage. We will provide games, activities, and food for the entire family, as well as a contest for the best Catrina/Catrin makeup. There's a prize for the contest winner, so come dressed up! Afterwards, take a look at our community ofrenda located on the main floor of the library, near the Spanish language collection.

Celebre con nosotros el Día de los Muertos para honrar a sus seres queridos y celebrar la herencia mexicana. Habrá juegos, actividades y comida para toda la familia, y tendremos un concurso para el mejor vestido de Catrina/Catrín. ¡Hay un premio para los ganadores, así que vengan disfrazados! Luego, no olvide visitar a nuestra ofrenda comunitaria ubicada en el piso principal de la biblioteca, cerca de la colección en español.
