Library Closure for Thanksgiving

Both library branches will close at 5 p.m. on November 27 and remain closed on November 28 and 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. We will reopen with normal hours on November 30.

Event Details

All summer reading challenge finishers will earn a ticket to the pool party! You must turn in your completed log at the library to receive your ticket by Sunday, August 4. The ticket is good for the finisher and his/her family. Capactiy at the pool is 1000 people.

We've got a great party planned, with a DJ, ice cream, and a ton of prize drawings for all who attend. We will also announce the children's summer reading grand prize winner. The Windy City Bulls prize includes four courtside recliner seat tickets for any mutually agreed upon Windy City Bulls game during the 2019-20 season, where you will present the Game Ball and receive a Windy City Bulls prize pack.
