Read for the Record was launched over a decade ago to address the educational inequities that leave too many children unprepared for kindergarten. As an official reading site, FRVPLD's numbers will be tallied for the official read count. Help us contribute to the record by dropping in to the Dundee Library for:

  • Readings of this year's book, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach, every hour on the hour
  • A one-of-a-kind craft, available throughout the day
  • Special Book Explorers meetings at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. that are open to all.
