Can you make a fire without matches?

We’ll attempt making a fire without matches or a lighter with these methods: bow drill (with a socket, bow, fireboard & spindle all made from natural materials), flint & steel, a glass lens and sunlight, flashlight lens & sunlight, and batteries.

Learn a new skill and explore the great oudoors at Dundee Township's Open Space @ Library Springs behind the East Dundee Library.  If inclement weather arises, the program will be indoors.
