The works on paper featured in the Ruth Wendt Gallery depict buildings and scenes found throughout Illinois. Pivoney finished her MFA degree from Northern Illinois University in 2019, where she specialized in oil painting and taught undergraduate drawing classes. She received an MA degree in Studio Art from Eastern Illinois University in 2016, a BFA from Southern Illinois University in 2013, and has attended artist residencies in Illinois and Colorado. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and has been published in Studio Visit Magazine, Art+Type Magazine, and PIKCHUR Magazine. Currently, she serves as a Project Coordinator for Purple Window Gallery in Chicago while teaching art in Elgin, IL.
Holiday Closing
